Is Tarot Dark?

Tarot sometimes gets a reputation for being associated with Evil and Black Magic. I don’t agree with this, I think like any tool we use, it’s all about your intention.

The Tarot reflects all aspects of our life: the up's and down's, our challenges and our greatest achievements.

To be afraid of the Tarot is to be afraid of life.🌹

I believe the Tarot was created to help support us in our experiences on Mother Earth and to give us the tools to solve these challenges we may face.

But what about some of the disturbing imagery?

When it comes to the more challenging cards, for example the Ten of Swords, we need to reflect and look inward toward the hidden wisdom of the symbols.

The Ten of Swords is not a nice looking card. I will admit it is down right scary. We usually see a person with ten swords in their back. Yep, not a pretty picture.

For me this card can represent betrayal or that I am betraying myself. Unfortunately, we have or will experience some form of this in our life. It is part of our experiences here.🌹

But does it have to be?

If I had a strong intuition and used my discernment I would realize some of the people around me do not have my best interests at heart. I would know what to do to protect myself. I could avoid heartache. I would feel stronger and empowered in life knowing I could trust myself completely.😀
