✨🪷The Value of Receiving 🪷✨

I hope you had a good week.

The energies have been intense lately. Make sure you are taking time for your own self care.

I recently decided to check in with the way I generally receive, abundance, information, energy, etc.

And I wanted to connect deeper to my own feminine/yin energy.🦋

Giving has always been easy to me. My job is all about giving. We are so programed in this world to "give more". It feels like there is more value given to the energy of "giving" then "receiving". Giving is the Masculine/yang aspect of our energy.

Both are equally important and need to be in balance within everything we do.🪷

I started to pay attention, on a daily basis, to the opportunities I was given to receive. And I was a little surprised at my reactions.

One example, I went into a store to buy a birthday present for a friend. I asked a staff member for help. The woman preceded to give me all sorts of great ideas. But I found myself feeling impatient and began to turn away from her. When I realized what I was doing I stopped myself, turned back to her, and took the time to receive her information.

Another example happened when a client who missed her last appointment to illness asked me how much she owed for the missed appointment. I told her it was okay and I wouldn't charge her for it. It wasn't her fault she got sick. This client insisted she pay for the missed appointment and I realized how much she values me and her treatments. And I accepted with gratitude.

I have more examples but won't go into all of them with you today.

What did I observe from my own behavior? I actually do not value receiving. I found myself acting dismissive and impatient when opportunities to receive were presenting themselves to me. Which tells me I'm not valuing my divine feminine self. Ugh!🥹

I find it interesting since being intuitive is all about receiving. Receiving messages from your Spiritual Team, from your inner wisdom, etc. And I don't think I'm too bad at this. But could I be better? Hmm.

I am enjoying playing with my divine feminine self and will continue to observe and shift negative beliefs around receiving.
